Proposed Development of a N.P.O. Foundation
Located near historic Fort Collins, Colorado, the foundation, an agency of the Middle-Age Productions, would provide educational programs and a hands-on, interactive historical experience for visitors to Medieval World, USA center together with Colorado Medieval Festival would create a museum of the 12th Century Europe Middle-Ages all situated on over 900 acres. The foundation will be a key contributor to northern Colorado’s tourism industry, its economic development strategy, and contribute to the education of children and adults alike throughout Colorado, the United States and even from around the world.
To this end it is proposed that the development of a non-profit organization be organized to raise moneys to develop and build this project. The fundraising would be done via the Internet and using contracted fundraising consultants.
The moneys derived from this fundraising effort would be used for the development and building of the Medieval World project, as well as the related expenses associated with the fundraising effort.
The foundation would continue after completion of the project-building phase to sponsor scholarships for education of persons interested in medieval history and desire apprenticeships with master craftsmen within Medieval World, USA (i.e. learning to make armour, weapons, clothing, tools and other articles used during the middle-ages.) The foundation would further fund grants for studies related to architecture, archeology, social studies and other areas of research related to the Middle Ages.
